This dolphin excursion takes you out on the open ocean looking for the dolphins. You will get the chance to get into the water and swim with these beautiful creatures. They are very playful and make your encounter an unforgettable one.
You will be guided through the basic safety protocol for open water snorkeling and taken out to find the dolphins. These animals are truly in a wild setting and you will get the chance to meet them up close and personal.
We have a 98% success rate that we will find the Dolphins! Here on the Kona coast you will enjoy a beautiful excursion to swim with the dolphins of Hawaii.
Of course there is plenty of wildlife in these beautifully clear Hawaiian waters. During the winter its very common to see Humpback Whales on your way to the dolphins. Don't be surprised if you see Spotted Dolphins, Bottle Nose Dolphins, Whale Sharks, Pilot Whales, Manta Rays, Eagle Rays, the Honu (turtles) among others.

Tour Duration: 8:00am - 12:00pm.
Included: All equipment is provided, snorkel gear, flotation if needed, as well as water/sodas, fruit, muffins and dry snacks.
Please bring: a towel, sunscreen, cover-up and a camera.
All ages welcome.
If you feel anyone may have any seasickness problems, we suggest a product called Bonine. It is over the counter and the best we have found. The secret is to take one the night before the charter and another with food in the morning about an hour before the tour.

Driving Directions to Honokohau Boat Harbor:
From Kailua-Kona
Head North toward the airport on the main highway (Highway 11/19 Queen Kaahumanu Highway).
Turn Left at Kealakehe Pkwy traffic light (toward Ocean). About 2.3 miles North of Kona.
(Look for signs that say Honokohau Harbor/Marina.)
Turn Right at first road 3/10 of a mile from Hwy. (There will be a sign that says ALOHA in yellow.)
Turn Left just past the Sea Deli gas/convenience store (approx. 2/10 a mile).
From the Airport or Waikoloa
Head South on the main highway (Hwy 19/11 Queen Kaahumanu Hwy).
Turn Right at Kealakehe Pkwy traffic light (toward Ocean). About 4.5 Miles South of Airport.
(Look for signs that say Honokohau Harbor/Marina.)
Turn Right at first road 3/10 of a mile from Hwy. (There will be a sign that says ALOHA in yellow.)
Turn Left just past the Sea Deli gas/convenience store (approx. 2/10 a mile).
Park near the bathroom building by the boat ramps.
There are only two boat ramps, one of either side of the bathroom.
Our boat is on trailer it is a white 37' boat with teal top and trim it will be pulled by a grey Ford pick up truck.
On the side of the boat it will say "Sunlight on Water"
