Hoku Nai’a, meaning “Star Dolphin” in Hawaiian, is a U.S. Coast Guard certified 2-deck catamaran custom built in 2007 for eco-friendly dolphin watching. With her 149 passenger capacity and facilities, we introduced wild dolphin watching as a true Hawaiian eco-tour for all ages.
Wai’anae was chosen as the best location for our cruises. Shielded by the tallest mountain range on Oahu , its waters are not dirtied by rain runoff, creating high visibility and one of the most ideal habitats for marine life. Also, its distance from the city keeps it a secluded and unspoiled snorkeling spot.
Dolphin Guarantee: We typically see a few pods of dolphins (40-70) daily, with a 98% record of sightings in 2009. In the case of no sightings however, you will receive a “Dolphin Check” to cruise again (meal, transportation and snorkel optional).

Hoku Nai’a Dolphin Watch 9:30am - 11:30am
Not everyone loves swimming but if you want to meet wild dolphins this is the cruise for you! It is truly an eco-tour for all ages, from 3-generation families to small groups. Choice of with lunch (Create-Your-Own Gourmet Burger freshly grilled onboard) or without lunch.

Recommended for those seeking maximum enjoyment of unique Hawaiian nature. Best price for a longer experience! After a morning of meeting wild dolphins and a delicious Create-Your-Own Gourmet Burger lunch, explore the beautiful underwater world of Oahu’s best snorkeling spot!
Lunch Menu: Create your own Gourmet Burger lunch of freshly filled onboard hamburgers, selection of buns (freshly baked taro or kaiser buns), with all the gourmet fixings (grilled pineapple, avocado, tomato, purple onion, lettuce, cheeses), selection of sauces (teriyaki, spicy BBQ, tomato), Trio of potato chips (Taro, Maui Style, Sweet Potato) and Brownies for dessert. Vegetarian Menu available with 24 hours notice. All you can drink fruit punch is served. Additional beverages available for purchase.

Transportation & Deluxe Motorcoach Tour of West Oahu: Roundtrip motorcoach transportation via deluxe Royal Star bus features a comfortable ride, onboard restroom, video presentation, and mint & hand towlette service. Available from Waikiki & Ko'olina.
Attire: Casual. If you are doing the snorkel option after lunch, please wear a swimsuit, bring a towel and sunscreen.
