Manta Rays are known as the "Butterflies of the Sea", these beautiful animals need to be seen in person. Their huge side fins operate like wings which they use to fly through the water. These 'wing spans' can be as large as 20ft in length.
So why is this tour at night you may ask? Simple, its more exciting! We know that Mantas do their feeding at night so we bring out some dive lights and watch as they feed on the planktonic creatures. We attract the plankton which in turn attracts the Mantas, it truly is a sight to behold!
It is very important to note that the Manta Ray does NOT have a stinger like its cousin the Sting Ray. This makes them totally safe to be around. We are very careful about your safety and prep you on safe water protocol at night in advance.
Mantas are known to leap out of the water, no one is sure why but you can hear
the splash they make from miles away! Come and be thrilled with this night
snorkel with a difference!
