Piiholo Ranch Canopy Tours, which opened in March 2011, is the newest offering from Piiholo Ranch Adventures. The canopy adventure takes place on an 800-acre, family-owned historic ranch above Makawao town in beautiful upcountry Maui. You will experience a thrilling combination of ziplines and aerial bridges as you soar through the stunning tropical forest canopy and ravines.
Distinctions:

*Owned by a seven-generation Maui family, the Baldwins, rooted in island ranching traditions.
*Wildlife sightings might include axis deer, goats, mountain boar, Hawaiian pueo (owls) and nene geese.
9-line Adventure 9 ziplines and 4 bridges
Once you're off the ground, you're in the trees the whole time on our premiere canopy tour! You'll zip through a tropical forest of towering eucalyptus, cross aerial canopy bridges and finish with a 1000-foot line that zips through a tree tunnel, while drinking in dramatic ocean and mountain views. Great fun while you learn about Hawaii's native plants and unique ecosystem.

6-line Adventure 6 ziplines and 4 bridges
You'll zip on six different l ines through the beautiful tree canopy and cross four aerial canopy bridges on this tour. Fly high over ravines and forest floor and observe native and introduced trees and plants.
Duration: 2.5 hours
3-line Adventure 3 ziplines and 1 bridge
If you want the rush of a zipline but need to keep it short, this one's for you! Two zips over lush valleys and a scenic trek over a canopy bridge lead up to our 1,000-ft line and a zip through a tree tunnel in the tropical forest canopy.

You can also test yourself and your group on our brand new
Tango Tower with seven unique climbing challenges. Or, if relaxing and taking in the sights is more your style, our Treehouse is sure to please. Built among the trees with three overhanging decks, it’s a great place for photos, kicking-back, and watching the zipline action.
What to Know
Daily except Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
Check in: 45 minutes prior to scheduled start time for signing of waivers, safety briefing and fitting of gear. Guests will first check in at the outpost, and then drive to tour starting point (about 1/4 mile).
Tours go out rain or shine, rain gear is provided as needed. Piiholo Ranch reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any tour due to weather or any other unforeseen situation.
Tandem zips are at the discretion of staff/guides.
Please wear: long pants. *Closed toe shoes are required.
Restrictions:
All zipline riders must be at least 8 years old, weigh between 60 - 250 pounds, and be in good physical condition. Each participant is weighed before start of tour.
No unaccompanied children under 18.
No pregnant women.
No persons with back or neck problems, recent surgeries or any other medical condition which may be aggravated by this activity.
Some moderate physical activity and stair climbing; must be able to carry up to 10 lbs.
Zipline tours go out rain or shine, rain gear is provided as needed.

From Kihei or Wailea (about 1 hour drive)
Take Piilani Highway (Hwy. 31) through Kihei
Take a right on Mokulele Highway (Hwy. 311) toward Kahului
Turn right at Dairy Road (Highway 380). Continue through town.
Turn right on Hana Highway (Hwy. 36).
At the next intersection, turn right uphill onto Haleakala Highway (Hwy. 37) and drive about 7.25 miles.
Turn left onto Makawao Avenue (Hwy. 365) and proceed straight for 2 miles.
At the 4-way stop intersection in Makawao Town, continue straight for another 1/10 of a mile past St. Joseph Church.
Just past the St. Joseph cemetery turn right onto Piiholo Road.
Continue on Piiholo Road for 1.2 miles and look for Piiholo Ranch Zipline signage and turn left into the large gravel parking lot.
From Lahaina (about 1 hr and 15 minute drive)
Take Honoapiilani Highway (Hwy. 30) from Lahaina past Ma’alaea
Turn right on Highway 380 to Kahului.
Once in Kahului, turn right on Hana Highway (Hwy. 36).
At the next intersection, turn right uphill onto Haleakala Highway (Hwy. 37) and drive about 7.25 miles.
Turn left onto Makawao Avenue (Hwy. 365) and proceed straight for 2 miles.
At the 4-way stop intersection in Makawao Town, continue straight for another 1/10 of a mile past St. Joseph Church.
