Ready for an exclusive, all-day seafari over to Maui’s neighbor island of Lanai? This Ultimate Seafari combines the best elements of the Discover Lana‘i tour along with the Blue Water Adventure Rafting, a cultural/historic island tour and snorkeling in a remote location.
You’ll depart from Lahaina Harbor and then set sail towards Lana‘i. Enjoy a mouthwatering breakfast of homemade, oven-fresh cinnamon rolls, fruits and coffee. Upon your arrival on Lana‘i, it’s time to get wet. You’ll be provided with snorkeling equipment and can then hop in the water to explore the coral reef and greet the many fish.
Hulopoe Beach is one of the top ten diving locations in the world and it has been voted number one beach in America! The water here is as clear as glass, so don’t forget to bring an underwater camera. Later on, you can play beach volleyball, sunbathe on the beach or explore the area.
For lunch, you’ll feast on a mouthwatering BBQ lunch at the Hale O Manele Pavilion overlooking Manele Bay. The food is outstanding. Trilogy uses Hawaiian kiawe wood and a 5th generation local recipe to create what many say is the best BBQ in Hawaii.
Later on, you’ll be taken on a two-hour guided historic and cultural tour of the island. It’s a journey back in time, when Polynesian navigators sailed double-hulled canoes from island to island. Your local and knowledgeable island guide will answer any questions you may have. You’ll also stop in Lana‘i City, an old plantation town, where you can have a stroll and explore some of the quaint shops and art galleries.
This all-day excursion also includes a fun adventure rafting trip in a 32’ Zodiac powerboat. You’ll get to see Lana‘i’s remote Kona coast, dolphins and whales in season. Later in the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a relaxing and fun sail back to Maui. Keep your eyes open because dolphins are almost always seen and if you do the trip during the winter (between December and April), the majestic Pacific humpback whales as well.
This luxury all-day Lana‘i adventure is very popular and sells out fast. Make sure you reserve early.

Where can I change? All our vessels have changing areas.
Are there restrooms on board? Yes, all our vessels are equipped with two restrooms.
Are vegetarian meals available? We offer garden burgers, stir-fried noodles, tossed salad and seasonal fruits.
Do you serve alcohol? No, but you can bring your own. Just keep in mind that we limit any alcohol consumption until all in-water activity has been completed.
Is there shade on your boats? Yes, all of our boats have either covered cabins or awnings or both.
How many passengers go on your boats? Each boat is U.S. Coast Guard certified for substantially more passengers than we take on our tours. Generally, we take 15-20 couples on our 55 ft. catamarans and 20-25 couples on our 65 ft. catamarans.
What is the snorkeling on Lana‘i like?Hulopoe Beach on Lana‘i has been voted as one of the top ten dive sites in the world. We at Trilogy are the only company with permission to take visitors to this awesome location! Most of the time, the snorkeling here is outstanding. There are just a few days during the summer months when surf from the South Pacific reduces the visibility. But 95% of the time, the snorkeling on Lana‘i is world-class!
How often do you see dolphins?Depending on feeding cycles, dolphins (both spinner and bottlenose) are seen almost daily.
Can I swim with the dolphins?Keep in mind that federal law prohibits harassment of any marine mammal. And swimming with dolphins is considered by some to be harassment. While we don't offer swimming with dolphins, we are happy to say that dolphins have been coming near the place where we snorkel regularly.
